This year GreenWeek is greater and greener than ever with tons of extraordinary workshops, interesting speakers, movie screenings, organic food and much more, and the best part is that you can do all of this and still stay eco-friendly! Academia Week is almost here! This week long event from January 26th ~ January 30th, organized by the Science Undergraduate Society, includes a lecture series that runs throughout the week along with CAPS workshops, information sessions, and seminars (including a medical school symposium!) to inform all students from all faculties about the future opportunities available to them after graduation. This year, the Academia Week will take place at various locations on campus - so if you want to get information on graduate programs and professional careers, here's your perfect opportunity!!!

If you're interested in volunteering outside of McGill campus and finding out more about Montreal and your community, you should come check out the SSMU Volunteer Fair, put on by the SSMU Volunteer Program and the Volunteer Bureau of Montreal. Over 40 national and local non-profit organizations attend, including: Quebec Special Olympics, Douglass Hospital, Animal Rescue Network and more! When: Thursday, January 22, 2009 Time: 11:00AM-3:00PM Where: Shatner Ballroom Volunteering is a great way to make friends, get involved in life outside of school and building a strong resome. Just as a reminder, CTF does not hold "official" office hours past the last day of lectures, so please refill your quota ahead of time.
